Fresh from supporting Royal Blood

The Xcerts today announce a headline UK tour, taking in nine dates across January and February, in support of their sixth album 'I think I want to go home Now' which is out now via FLG Records. Recorded by Larry Hibbitt at Beehive Studios and written by all three members together in a room for the first time since their early records, the album documents two years that included the passing of bassist Jordan Smith's mother, vocalist Murray Macleod's father's cancer diagnosis, and the end of Macleod's long-term relationship.

It marks a return to the raw, urgent sound of early releases 'In the cold wind we Smile', 'Scatterbrain' and 'There is only You', after a run of albums that had pushed toward more polished textures. The tour follows a string of in-store shows and festival sets across the summer, including a full album playthrough at 2000 Trees.
