Dark vibes for a bangin' song!!!

Imaging mashing Chase ‘n Status, with Sub Focus the cream of the crop of UK contemporary Drum 'n' Bass. And once you have done that, chuck in some seriously dark vibes, with some almost Industrial riffage in the style of Misery Loves Co.. This sort of vibe is currently bubbling up from the underground and is soon to make it into the mainstream, and rightly so.  Wargasm UK,  Bob Vylan, ho99o9, Soft Play are all the ones leading this current trend. Most of that stuff is righteously angry, but there is something missing int the scene and Toronto is Broken seems to have found it.

Reebz (Pictured Above)

Despite the track’s name, 'Raw' is deeply sensual with Nu-Goth vibes to add an extra level of soul. This is done by Mostly whispered vocals by guest singer Reebz playing alongside the harsher doubled-up hardcore shouty vocals of guest singer Sebotage, without neither of them sounding out of place. That takes some seriously next level mixing skills. There is shit loads of blood and classic Horror in the video, without resorting to long played out tropes. It could be Horror, it could be gang violence, it could be a horrible accident, the beauty is in not telling us, just leaving us with a disturbing sense of unknowing.

The press release mentions the influence of Enter Shikari and its clear to see that in this track here and will defo appeal to their fans. I dare say though that 'Raw' is much better than any ES output, it's less haphazard and much, much more engaging. Expect this to destroy many a club floor....Yup, it’s a banger.  There’s gonna be a lot of shapes thrown around to this on the dancefloor, this would go down well in any Alternative club around the World.
