A slice of briliant Electronic Pop!

'Closer' reminds me a lot of Patrick Cleandenim an Electronic artist I am simply in love with, so this is a very good thing indeed, 'Closer' is the single taken from the EP of the same name which is well worth a purchase. This song as well as being Electronic has a great Funky vibe to it and very cleaver put together lyrics that tell a story as the track goes on. You could imagine hearing this on mainstream radio but it also has that independent feel and you could imagine him playing upstairs in a pub in Shoredich to a load of arty farty types.

Thief is a great artist that brings back a feel of the 80's / 90's to you like Rod Thomas (AKA Bright Light, Bright Light) and is a very interesting artist. The track is quite short so it doesn't drag on. It's punchy and sticks in your head. I think you will be hearing a lot more of this artist in the future. I am really looking forward to his album and wonder what he would sound like as a live act.
