SOiL - The Hate Song

SOiL are back with a hateful song!!!

SOiL are back with one hell of a song, that is equally as good as their major hit 'Halo' and that might be because Ryan McCombs is back in the band and he was the man that originally sang on this record. Ryan parted ways with SOiL back in 2005 to join Drowning Pool, he spent six years in Drowning Pool before deciding to rejoin the band in 2011. SOiL are just about to embark on a killer UK tour with American head Charge and (Hed)pe, which is one I just can't wait to go to. New single 'The Hate Song' is a track that is to show that SOiL mean business and that they will give both of these touring bands a good run for their money and to encourage people to buy tickets. I think in the UK some people have forgot how good SOiL are with Ryan and need to be reminded so I think by releasing a song like this it's going to do just that.

The sound of the band is still as good as it was when the first came to light and even has a Slipknot feel in places and some great harmonics that are similar to some Pantera songs. This makes the song really stand out as a great Metal track that needs to be paid attention to. So people say bands like SOiL and Drowning Pool have had their day, but I think this kind of sound is really coming back in with bands like Five finger death Punch selling a lot of records in the US and UK. This song has catchy choruses and a memorable rhythm only criticism is that in places it is a little similar to some of the bands other material, but I really enjoyed it anyways and would put this on all the time. This is a really good comeback song for SOiL, and look forward to seeing them live on their tour.
