Seether - To release new album!!!

Multi platinum Alternative Rock trio Seether will release their highly anticipated, sixth studio album 'Isolate and Medicate' on June the 30th, 2014 via The Bicycle Music Company / Concord Music Group. The band has again teamed with ace producer Brendan O'Brien (BruceSpringsteen, Pearl Jam) to deliver the most poignant, passionate, and powerful record of their career.  Having racked up seventeen top five multi format hits including eleven No.1 singles, Seether, Billboard's 2011 "Active Rock artist of the Year" is gearing up for another long, prolific run on the nation's airwaves.  

 
Coming off 2011's highly successful 'Holding onto strings better left to Fray' and it's No.2 Billboard chart debut, the band felt unusually restless. Long considered one of Alternative Rock's most formidable units, Seether knew it was time for a change. In order to limit the distractions, front man Shaun Morgan began construction on a musical refuge in his New Hampshire home.

"I actually built a room that I could write in, I personally pulled out the carpet, put in wood flooring, decorated, and painted. After getting off the road, it was a process of preparation to get the environment just right.  I made a place that I felt comfortable and creative in. Shaun Morgan emerged with a collection of fleshed out ideas that the musicians honed during rehearsals together in drummer John Humphrey's native Oklahoma. By the time they assembled with O'Brien to record the album at Hollywood's Henson Studios in January 2014, their vision and determination had clearly come into focus. 'Isolate and Medicate' was tracked in just sixteen days.

As they get ready for the release of 'Isolate and Medicate', Seether are currently on the road for a string of headlining and festival dates including their own upcoming Rise Above Fest featuring Avenged Sevenfold, Hellyeah!, Black Stone Cherry and others. The second show in this now annual event takes place at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, ME on Saturday May the 10th and benefits S.A.V.E (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education), one of the leading national not for profit organizations dedicated to raising awareness and educating the public in order to save lives.
