Paul McCartney - Does a spot of busking in London!

Paul McCartney goes busking in Covent Garden!

Paul McCartney must be hard up because yesterday the 18th of October he replaced the Jugglers in Covent Garden and performed a few songs. Paul McCartney performed these songs from the back of a truck while on looks looked on in shock. Lucky on lookers got a free concert by Macca that would usually cost upwards of £95 if you were buying tickets for it, that's if you could get hold of them.

Stacks of speakers and equipment started to go into the square at about 6am and on lookers started to twig that Sir Paul might be performing their around 11am after some spotted one of his flight cases with his name on the sides. He went on stage about 1.30pm joking at the crowd about always wanting to busk in Covent Garden and greeting people with the sentence below.

"Good afternoon, and welcome to Covent Garden. We're just going to do a few songs from our new album so get your phones out as if they weren't out already." - Paul McCartney

If you were one of the lucky people to witness this show then this must have really made your weekend, I wonder if he will be pulling anymore stunts soon. Maybe he will play in Madam Tussauds pretending to be a wax work and then play a few songs.
