Minimal Schlager - Release new single 'Forbidden Fruit'

London / Berlin duo Minimal Schlager returned with their new single 'Forbidden Fruit' last week, the first track to be taken from their upcoming debut album 'Love, Sex and Dreams,' out on the 9th September via Berlin's Duchess Box Records. Recorded at Berlin's Impression Studio by producer Robbie Moore (Andreya Casablanca, Florence and the Machine). 

"We wrote 'Forbidden Fruit' after I finished reading 'Blood Wedding', Garcia Lorca's Greek tragedy, and I was amazed by the brutality and irrationality in passion. 'Forbidden Fruit' is a song that has no time and space, it's a drama of human aspiration, struggle and ultimate failure." - Minimal Schlager

'Forbidden Fruit' is synth heavy dreamy ear worm which wouldn't sound out of place in any David Lynch movie. It's hypnotic video is out today. The pair had this to say on it:The London / Berlin based brother / sister duo (Francisco and Alicia) released their debut EP 'Voodoo Eyes' in the spring of 2020 as Corona first started to take a grip on the World.
