Bad Nerves - Hey, Ho, let's Go to see Bad Nerves

If you love the Ramones, then you will love this

Punk favourites Bad Nerves are back on the road this November with a run of dates in the UK. After kicking things off in Birmingham on the 18th of November, the band will play at a series of beloved venues throughout the month, including The Grove in Newcastle and The Wardrobe in Leeds. The tour will come to an end with a mammoth date at the two thousand capacity Shepherd’s Bush, o2 Empire in London. The tour follows a jam-packed festival season for Bad Nerves, with stops at Download festival in the UK, Mad Cool in Spain, Tons of Rock in Norway, and many more throughout the summer. The band are also still riding the high of the release of their second album, ‘Still Nervous’, which arrived on streaming services and in record stores last May to widespread acclaim.

The record showed off their distinctive and distorted Punk sound, which they faithfully emulate for audiences each time they take to the stage. The bastard child of the Ramones / Strokes one-night-stand, Bad Nerves play ferociously fast distorted pop songs. Their self-made debut put them in the hearts and minds of the cream of the alternative crop; from UK tastemakers such as Dan P Carter to Alyx Holcombe, to Rock legends such as Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard. Drawing comparisons to Supergrass, the Ramones, and Jay Reatard, they proactively seek to make the type of in-your-face, opposite-of-sterile, Rock music that the genre was built on. Their second LP, ‘Still Nervous’, was released last spring.
